The Navy League of Canada Ottawa Branch will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of RCSCC FALKLAND with activities over the weekend of 2 to 4 June 2023!
For 100 years, thousands of Ottawa’s youths have been guided, through Sea Cadet training, in gaining knowledge, skills and the understanding needed to become good and productive citizens of Canada while making enduring friends and enjoyable memories.
The celebration of this milestone will begin on the evening of Friday, June 2nd, with an BBQ onboard and end after Ceremonial Divisions on the afternoon of June 4th at HMCS Carleton at Dow’s Lake in Centertown, Ottawa.

Details of the program are still being finalized, but we are at a stage when registrations and payments should be made, and plans for travel and accommodations, if needed, underway. Links to the information available on the Gala dinner and the Annual Ceremonial Review as wall as other activities over the weekend are provided below.

FALKLAND Time Capsule
The Ottawa Branch had procured a Time Capsule for the 125th Anniversary of the Navy League of Canada. However, the pandemic made completing that initiative at the time problematic. So we are collecting memorabilia or other swag to commemorate The Falkland Sea Cadet Corps, Vice-Admiral Kingsmill NL Cadet Corps and the NL Ottawa Branch. If you have anything you think should be put in the capsule, please bring it with you, preferably to the BBQ on Friday evening.
The capsule will be sealed for 50 years before being reopened.
All gifts/donations will be gratefully received
